Lake Shore High School’s Student Government had the opportunity to travel to the Catskills for this year’s New York State Council on Leadership and Student Activities Conference. During the conference, Student Government members were able to share ideas, network, and learn skills necessary for being a student and school leader.
At the conference, Lake Shore was presented the 2016 State Charity Award for their efforts in raising money for the state charity, the Epilepsy Foundation. Student Government hosted the annual Dodgeball Tournament and Seniors in Demand to raise money for the foundation.  In conjunction with these events, Lake Shore was named to the NYS CLSA Honor Council because of their continuous hard work and efforts to serve the community and school.
Congratulations to all students involved! We are so proud of you!
