If you’re going to be in the market for a fresh Christmas tree in December, you might want to consider getting yours at the “Christmas at the Lake” holiday bazaar! Come to the Grand View Bay Golf Course Clubhouse on December 3rd, from 10 AM til 5 PM to buy your tree and support a great fund-raiser for our veterans in need.
The event will be hosted by the Grandview Bay Community Association lane preservation committee, will feature the sale of fresh Christmas trees and homemade wreaths, as well as approximately 10 bazaar vendors, complimentary hot chocolate, and Santa! YES! The jolly ol’ elf himself RSVP’d that he’s planning an appearance for the little ones!
There are already vendors signed up, but a few more spaces are still available! If you are interested in selling your specialty wares, handmade crafts, hand-made jewelry, baked goods, canned goods, or whatever it is you create – please contact Robin Kettering at firstname.lastname@example.org for a vendor application. Vendors may purchase table space for $25. Vendors keep their profits, but all other monies made from the event – such as the vendor fees, Christmas tree and wreath sales, etc. – will be donated as a charitable contribution of goods to the Veterans Hospital.
So save your Christmas shopping and tree hunting until December 3rd, and stop by the Christmas on the Lake bazaar first! Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and bring the kids to see Santa. Hey, you may find that perfect gift for that special person and you never know – there just may be that certain Christmas tree that really NEEDS to go to your home this holiday!
